Ever feel like you don’t belong in the room?

Ever feel like you don’t belong in the room?

You’ve worked hard, achieved something big—a new job, a promotion, a personal goal. But instead of celebrating, that nagging voice creeps in:

“I don’t deserve this.”

“They’re going to find out I’m not that smart.”

“I just got lucky.”

This is Imposter Syndrome, and it affects even the most accomplished people.

Even Tom Hanks and Maya Angelou have admitted to feeling this way. If they questioned themselves despite all their success, what does that tell us?

Self-doubt doesn’t mean you’re unqualified—it means you’re human.

But here’s the real danger: If you believe the lie, you might stop yourself from taking the opportunities you deserve.

So how do you overcome it?

Recognize it. Call it what it is—imposter syndrome, not truth.

Reframe your thinking. Instead of “I got lucky,” say, “I worked for this.”

Keep a success journal. Track your wins, big or small.

Talk about it. You’re not alone—so many others feel the same way.

You belong here. Your success isn’t an accident—it’s proof of your hard work, growth, and talent.

The next time Imposter Syndrome tries to creep in, remind yourself: You earned this.

I recorded a short video on this—check it out below!
